The International Agricultural Academy for Africa (i3A) is a private agricultural academy, providing AgriSETA-accredited education and training through an innovative Polycentric Learning and Teaching Ecosystem. The ecosystem connects i3A with sites of delivery, virtual learning environments, and academic partners nationally and internationally, creating accessible and flexible learning and teaching opportunities for the agricultural sector.

Our sites of delivery and virtual learning environments provide instructor-led, contextualised learning and teaching, incorporating the distinctive Agri-pedia attributes of i3A. Our learning and teaching are designed to meet the diverse needs of students, emerging farmers, farmworkers and established farming enterprises.

We work closely with the agricultural business sector to ensure that our students engage with the latest developments in agricultural technology, practices, products and related innovation, strengthening the connection between learning and teaching, practical application and the evolving needs of the agricultural sector.

The Polycentric Learning and Teaching Ecosystem connects agricultural sciences, related industries, innovation, technology and primary production operations. It brings together knowledge and expertise from across the agricultural sector and translates these into relevant, accessible and practical learning and information for students, farmers, farmworkers and agricultural enterprises
